One of the cornerstone features of the Creative Evolution CNC has been the update-ability of the control software. We continue to offer improvements and innovations. IMTS will mark the formal introduction of the Creative Evolution CNC version 3.0. New features will include:

• New macro programs for easy operator programming of everyday layout functions like facing, squaring, pocketing, and holes
• Data filtering for more efficient roughing operations
• Thermal compensation sensing, for ultra-high accuracy
• Fully automated laser tool probing
• User-defined commands for custom user functions

All Creative Evolution CNC users can update to version 3.0 and enjoy the new features and performance. There is an update licensing fee for non-warranty customers.

IMTS-2006 booth B-6777 is the place to be to see the new HSD-820 from Creative Evolution. Meet the Creative team to learn about all that's new and share your goals for improved productivity. IMTS runs September 6 through 13, 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. During IMTS, we will also be giving customer demonstrations on the popular HSD-500 with Erowa robotic parts changer and Torit Downflow dust collection system at our office in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Defiance Innovations, originally set up as Defiance Machine and Tool, equipped many machines with Creative Evolution CNC controls.  Defiance closed their doors for business August, 2001. The Defiance VTX, DMC, and HS-12 models used commercially available parts and components, so most parts are easily replaced.  Call with any special needs and we will try to assist.   In all cases, we offer complete service and training on our product, the Creative Evolution CNC control. New Defiance machines are no longer built and we are not aware of any plans to resume their manufacture.
